It's hard to tell from the pic for sure but it looks like the shield is worn flat and the rim is starting to merge with the field, I would guess that it would grade more like a VG or FINE. A more detailed pic or a good scan and I or somebody else on here would be able to tell you for sure.

Current market price to buy in XF condition would be about $30-$35, $13 for VF, $9 for Fine, and $7 for VG. from the looks of the picture it looks severely damaged which would only leave it with its silver value. Based off of silver value today $27.38 per oz t your looking at a quarter worth $4.85 Common Date as well. These are current Grey Sheet Prices.
