1922 peace dollar was nice till someone punched a hole in it

well when i pulled this out of the dirt i was excited as all #$%^ until i noticed someone had punched a hole in this, SaginalIan was with me and found a skeleton key and what was left of a piece of chain less than 2 feet away, we think the dollar was connected to the key chain, well after ruining this beutifull coin they lost the friggin key anyway.............

oh well, you can nail that to a wall or hang it from your keychain. Just don't lose the thing. I'd be happy with that no matter how it looked. Nice find, and I like the Merc too.

the coin was standing up , and when got to it and started uncovering the edge i knew it was a silver dollar, it was still cool diggin that out of the ground even with the hole, ive been doing this for 3 months and then people tell me they havent found shit in 10 yrs etc.
i still think its cool and i will getting myself a nice chain to wear that on since its allready ready to go , no polishing required it came out of a 6" hole as you see it

its still nice. there arent many silver dollars found these days. even one with a hole in it is pretty rare. nice find!
