Today I got a permission on a house in my home town. Wasn't expecting a lot because I figured it had been hammered. I was almost ready to go after only a few coins and none of them very old when I swung beside a large old pecan tree and got a good high tone 29-30 on equinox 800. about 3 inches down in the roots I pulled out a Christian F Heise 1922 hand wrought 826 silver tiny salt spoon!!! I wasn't sure of what I had until a friend of mine did a little research on it. you can actually see the dimples from the tool that was used to forge the bowl of the spoon on back. He said he thinks its a great find and fairly rare to come across so I wanted to post it here and let some of you experts give me your thoughts. It/s a beautiful little spoon and I am glad to have saved it......I believe he made them between 1914 and 1934
