1920's Swimming Hole and Camp Grounds
I have know of this place for a long time and it is so over grown and so trashy (pulltab signal every other swing literally) I haven't tried it in years... but I recently passed by and they had some heavy equipment down there doing something... so I had to go look... they were tearing up the old mini golf course and it was cleared where I could get in there and hunt... so guess what I did... 60 seconds in and first signal BAM 1926S Wheat.... I go alright this is going to be a good day... well unfortunately it was that good but it was ok... I got 4 wheat's 1926 S 1926D 1946 1956 and lots of pulltabs and bottle caps them dang metal bottle caps have been the ground so long the read as a penny/dime! Grrr Its an awesome location I will be going back as they clear out the are more.... As I was working my way through this area I was thinking I bet I could find one on top of the ground... and guess what.... Check out the pictures...
Thanks for looking..
