Detector(s) used
Minelab Ctx 3030, my favorite E-Trac & NEL Tornado. Garrett Carrot, (Previously, MXT PRO with D2 and SEF 10x12 coil)
Primary Interest:
Metal Detecting
Door knocked a home a block from where I live and a pleasant older lady immediately said yes and gave us permission to detect her yard, curb strip and she said "might as well do next door, no one's lived there in two years" so..we did.. The front yard of the vacant house produced all the coins pictured below. Nearly all were between 8-12 inches deep. Very soft deep soil with no rocks or roots. All pennies came up zincolns, and the V nickel was masked by a penny. The 1956 dog tag cleaned up well. The small medallion on the back is marked ft. Riley-YOA 1974. The Eisenhower coin was found on another lot. Dates 05,06,07 1891 (one coin looks squished) and the V is an 06. 15-D (2) 16-D,17-s, 18, 20. Lots of goodies. My friend found a Rosie, an 05 IH, a few newer wheats and a 1962 dog tag with his old school Tesoro. We never managed to hit the yard we originally asked to do. Hopefully sat will be a repeat.

Nice coins, and the copper held up well. Now get some silver!

Great job you are a true treasure hunter I've not done permissions yet but looks like I'm missing out. Great job. Tommy
