Hello everyone. I was fortunate enough to have a beautiful day out detecting! 70 degrees and sunshine! Decided to hit the woods for a day of digging. Targets were scattered and woods were thick. Walked aimlessly through the woods and walked up onto a ridge that dropped into
a gully. It could have been an old road bed many years ago. It had that look to it. Right at the edge of the gully I had a good signal. I dug it and it was a Three ringer..I love that feeling. Took 3 steps and another signal. Same outcome 3 ringer!!! Started scanning where I thought the path or road could have led and got another! 3 in same area. Looks like I found another good spot. I marked it on GPS and now I have another spot to check out next time. Dug a few more high conductive targets and found a small cuff button that is ROACHED! Wish I could ID it, but I am afraid it is to far gone. At least I saved it!
I decided to leave the woods and go look in the clearing for a few coins. Well I didn't get far and got a nickel signal in the ATPro. Dug it and out came a badly corroded V Nickel. I rescanned the hole and WAM..91-92 on the ATPro.. I said to my self..No Way!!! Well it was a sweet Mercury dime. Happy Dance...Pulled it out and stuck probe back in the hole l!!! Friends! Another Merc came out. I was excited. Ended up being a quarter coin spill. It was a great day for me. I ended up with 3 Silvers for the day. I dug a Silver War Nickel before I walked back to the Jeep. I wish every hunt was like this! Thanks for looking guys!
