Thats a neat find there.

What a great piece of history. I wonder if the state would even still retain those type of records?

Been talk about tracking em down for years. To my knowledge no way has been found .Double2ya on here knows them well

I tried for quite a while to get info on this piece i found a 1923 badge with no luck, if you happen to come across something please let me know I sure would appreciate it

Very nice. :icon_thumleft: A chauffeur's badge is very high on my "relic wish list."

Keep digging!

Will do

Very cool find. I never knew there was such a thing until i got one a few years ago. I have never tried to research who mine belonged to. Is it possible to check and see if there are any records in CA archives on it? after all you do have the year for it. Another idea is that seeing as how it came from your yard you might look into your title abstract and see who owned your land around that time or shortly after that. You might then be able to track that person / family back to CA.
