Went out for a hunt in my local park yesterday. Dug several wheat pennies. Right at dark I got a good penny signal and dug a 1919 wheat. Covered the hole back and rechecked my hole. There was a quarter signal. Dug what I thought was a clad quarter. About 30 minutes later the lightbulb went of...why would a clad quarter be in the same hole as a wheat penny. Well went home and cleaned the finds up and to my surprise the quarter turned out to be a WW1 era US collar brass. At least that is what I believe it to be. Did I mention I got it all on video? Y'all watch the video and tell me if my Id is right. The wheat was a 1919 wheat. The US pin was in the same hole. That is why I figure it is from that time period. Hope y'all enjoy.!!
