1919 Norfolk VA token

Found this at an old house site in Gloucester VA, was able to get the back sory on it.....

John W. Ash was listed as proprietor of the Ash Shoe Company at 311 Church St. in the 1919 Norfolk, VA City Directory. That was the only year he was shown at the address shown on the token, so that pretty well dates it.
