1918 Permission

I knocked on several doors today with them all saying mulitple people had detected but nearly everyone declined to give me permission. However, there was one nice young lady that did let me go. I didn't find much but figured I'd post anyway. The best finds were a Minié ball and a couple wheat cents, but it's better than striking out completely.

Oh I know! I once found a shield nickel at a site the owner said had been done at least 17 times.

Not a bad day. Any finds makes it worthwhile, congrats.
I have had more than a few outings I have struck out. But cant find them if your not looking.
