Yeah, that's the way to get it going. ;D Congratulations. Mercs are great.

Try a little ammonia on the dime...should remove the crude. Let soak for 1/2 hour or so.

Congrats on the Mercury dime, after you find one the second one comes easier! It looks like it is in great shape! Good work.

Great first silver.... I like to set goals for myself.. like hope to find an Indian-Head
next... or maybe War Nickel..... it makes each dig more exciting. I hope ya keep
records ..... its fun to look back, on those cold winter days when ya can't hunt.
