1917 Watch Fob ~ 1936-S Mercury Dime ~ 1953 Play money "Half buck"
I've been off work on vacation all week ~ I've been out detecting everyday so far! Today I went to my favorite local park. First I dug a 1953-W Uncle Sam "Half Buck" play coin ~ then I dug a watch fob ~ Around the edge/border of the watch fob it reads WASHINGTON STATE ELKS CONVENTION 1917. In the middle is a picture of the George Washington's face/bust in an outline of the state of Washington ~ then above George's head it reads WENATCHEE. It was bent in a 90 degree angle ~ I carefully bent it back as far as it would go without breaking. And then I dug a 1936-S Mercury dime! I also found a bout $1.60 in modern clad and a couple weird shaped key ~ not found together though.
I'm be out there again tomorrow if the rain holds off!
