1917 Arkansas " dashboard disk"

found this today in my neighbors yard. hunted it a couple of times, yeilding 5 wheaties, 1961 silver Rosie and the 1917 motor vehicle dashboard disk. never have seen one of the until today.

Found one of those here in Mena Arkansas about 3 years ago......was told by a man who collects autos and auto memorabilia that they can sell for about $50-75 or more....they are the forerunner of a modern inspection sticker....couldnt drive a vehicle unless you had one on dash or somewhere on the car......yours in in better condition than mine....might get 100 for yours......nice find....keep it up....havent seen many of them around...guess they tossed them after use....see ya later.....

A friend has a 1916 Studebaker and the plate such as that is mounted on the floorboard of the drivers side. His was the vehicle VIN number stamped in it from Illinois..
