I asked permission to a 1911 site and was told it was run by a board of people and he would ask the committee members next month when they meet and took my number. I was shocked when he called and said no one apposed. This is a first for me, there is always one on the board that apposes. I started in the back and began digging wheat after wheat penny, 20 in total. Then the silver started to pop. First was the 1916D barber quarter, by favorite era coinage, then the merc dime then the 1896 mashed barber dime. Didn't realize I had the 1989IH. I spent about 2 hours and will return.
All the best TH'rs  005.JPG004.JPG001.JPG003.JPG

Looks like a heck of a spot. Nice coins, BTW looks like a D on the back of that Barber quarter. Now find that elusive 1916 Standing Liberty Quarter. Keep at it...............Rich

Nice haul, I'm still looking for my first barber quarter!👍

Will do thanks :)

Looks like you have found the spot. Good going on the Indian head and the two bit piece. Those old liberty coins are sure better looking than the coins we have now.

VERY VERY NICE JOB !! :headbang:

can't wait to knock the Barber quarter off of my bucket list. i can't wait to see what you pull out of there next. awesome job.

Looks like a dream site! I'll bet there is more waiting to be found. Did you find any cool relics you could leave the committee?

WoW - nice digs!

Hard to find places like that these days!

I'd hit it again for sure :-)
