Went on a little road trip with Neil & Richard. Had a good time. I was using the Etrac today . I have aways ran the Explorers In iron mask / manual sens .Today I ran the Etrac in Coin mode/ auto sens +3 and was totally surprised by the depth of this MD . this Md runs smooth and goes deeeep! It made me a believer :icon_pirat: HH RonC

Congrats, Ron on the 5 silver coin day!
The 1883 IH and the 1872 French coin are great finds. I couldn't believe the depth on that bull duram medalion and the E-trac found it......nice.
Wet or not, let's do it again! Gold Nuggets :icon_jokercolor:

Great hunt Ron,a mess of silver an IH and a old French coin!I'm a new Explorer XS user, what Iron mask settings and Sens. did you use on your Explorer?

Tom its been awhile since I hunted with the XS But if I remember right IM -16 or less/ sens its depends on the ground back it off when it start to flase 21 - 24 is close /deep on/variability max /the XS is a slow MD meaning sweep speed it will go deep take your time analyzes the ground I think I set the gain at 7. I have had the XS/ Ex2 /SE/ and now the ET and it all goes back to the Sov I still do the wiggle on all the Exp & ET Hope this helps HH RonC
