My parents own an old building on main street in my town, and when me and my brother were going through the third floor (all kinds of junk up there) I found a barber dime, which appears to be made of brass. Its definately NOT 90/10 Silver/Copper. It also has a rotated reverse, about 100 degrees (give or take a few.) Sorry I haven't put a picture up, but I'm on campus and don't have a camera here. Any ideas on what the heck is going on with this coin?

I'll try and get pics as soon as I can. If it turns out that its plated, I'll be so mad, especially since the reverse IS rotated.

Could be a counterfeit, they were usually a cheaper metal. It may have been meant to be silver plated afterward.
