Well the good news is I found a 1909S vdb Penny. The bad news is it is Shot. I can clearly see the 1909s and the vdb but it is just dead. Also found some artifacts 15 wheats a 1914 barber dime a roosie dime and a nice pin and my first ball button ever as well as a really neat button with an arm on it. Kinda bumed about the penny. It is one I have always wanted to find.

Really nice finds!!WTG!

Good looking Standing Liberty. I always liked the art on those coins.
I live in an area where there were a number of indian settlements but have yet to come across a point. Yours look great.

Why on earth would you be Bummed about the cent you found? How many detectorists have ever found one?

Welcome to the club. I've dug two, both in horrible, horrible condition. I feel for your mixed emotions. Still, ya got one!

That would have been a good one...........too bad about the condition. The chances of finding one of those is pretty slim :-\

Congrats!

I found a 1909 VDB the other day that is in pretty good shape.... other than missing the all important "S"!!!

I am happy to have it, it just stinks that an already rare coin that is so valuable is not worth much now. But hey at least I can say I own one.
