I’m curious what some of you guys think this penny would grade, the front definitely seams a bit better then the back. I know the S is tuff to see in the pictures, but I’m positive it’s there. Thanks for your input ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1515279562.333116.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1515279594.413573.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1515279621.410477.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1515279663.397282.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1515279729.695474.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1515279869.014176.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1515279938.130653.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1515279960.876032.jpg

The will grade it genuine, environmental damage. Up to you.

Not worth submitting, like Smokey says Environmental damage kills it.

So is that where they don’t even consider it in Good according to book values? I appreciate the input

If you guys have time if you wouldn’t mind looking at my post about the 1909 Lincoln VDB id really appreciate it, I’m not exactly sure what I’m looking at. Thanks again

In that condition, it is not worth paying for grading, but, it is still a good find that you should be proud of.

Thanks, it’s neat to have have rare one in the collection. Thanks guys

I didn’t even know they made IHP in 1909, thought that was the first year of the Lincoln wheaties, huh, learn somethin’ New every day, pretty cool find!!!

I would do it. There are a lot of fakes out there, so with it slabbed as "genuine" you can sell it at some time in the future if you desire.

That is 1909 S Indian head cent. Coincidently and luckily being that 1909 was the last year it was minted adds to the value. In addition- 1909 S (sanfrancisco) mint is considered by numismatists as being a semi-key to key date. I think you might be pleasantly surprised when you check Ebays completed/sold listings. :) Condition included, nice find!
