I'm selling this $20 double eagle graded as MS65 by NGC. This is the No Motto version minted in 1907 and 1908. This one is 1908. There is .9675 ounces of gold in the St Gaudens double eagles so that's about $2800 in melt value at today's gold price. But this is graded MS65 and considered "gem" quality. There are no significant marks on this coin, but it does have two small stains on the reverse left. As usual I'm asking what I paid for it, $3100 in this case. That includes registered shipping in the US. I'm selling because I got a good deal on an MS67 coin for my collection.

Beauty.

It’s a beauty alright. Out of my reach right now, but a deal for someone with the means.

Definitely one of the best looking coins minted thus far, IMO.
