1907 No Motto Indian Head $10 Gold Piece

For sale this time is a 1907 $10 gold piece of the No Motto type. "In God We Trust" wasn't included on the 1907 or 1908 Indian Head $10 coins. This one is graded AU58 which means it has been circulated, but almost could be in the Mint State category. If you look closely there are two minor divots on the obverse rim above the stars. Without those two marks I'm sure this coin would've graded MS60. $1610 for this one. That includes insured shipment in the US. I've recently upgraded some of my type set coins and this one is excess now. .48375 ounces of gold content.

But you are almost flirting with melt value on a graded coin!

Amazing how the collecting thing has yielded to metals value, long before today.
