I had a great time yesterday & saved a little history! My favorite find is the large 1907 Jamestown Tri-Centennial watch fob, a very cool piece! I also found a Civil War eagle button with a lot of gilt. I accidentally hit it when digging, knocked the face off & bent it bad (doh!). Luckily I was able to bend it back into shape & reattach the back (not perfect but better than it was!). I also found a silver dime, silver quarter, an 1879 Indian head, 3 flat buttons & other assorted relics. Silver is always nice but the Jamestown fob was the find of the day. Congratulations

Lot's of COOL old Stuff, You usually do pretty dang good finding relics.

The Button looks Good Now , but Id never forgive myself for hitting it.
but
That's just me.....too hard on myself.

P.S. The flat buttons would have made my day , they are 'Rare' here . Maybe it's because Gen. Sherman Burned down everything in 1864??? I do find alot of molten brass. LOL

Silver is Sweet as well.
Davers

Oh , Cool IH & The Watch fob is beautiful with it's details .

Congrats on a good day out swinging! :occasion14:
Nice Silver and a good assortment of goodies!

Neat finds! The Jamestown FOB is really cool. I have a Jamestown token from the 1967 celebration and was actually there to get it... <grin>

double-talk :tongue3:

[h=2]As nouns the difference between tercentennial and tricentennial[/h] is that tercentennial is the three-hundredth anniversary of an event; tricentennial while tricentennial is the 300th anniversary of an event or happening.

[h=2]As a adjective tricentennial is[/h] occurring every three-hundred (300) years.

Awesome finds!!! WTG! Congrats and HH
