Hey All...Wanted to share some of my recent finds from a place that gave up my first Indian Head. The little cast iron car in the first 2 pics blew my mind since it had all four wheels (cast iron as well) intact. Albeit on bent axles. When I researched it on the net, the closest I could come to style were the grand prix cars circa 1907. The 3rd pic is of what I think may be a cap to an ink well (input invited). The 4th pic is of the remains of a silver plated pocket watch. Boy, those things really go to hell if they're in the ground for a century ;D. The 5th pic is a copper over lead print block for an advertisement. Don't know how clearly you'll be able to see it but it's a lady lighting a coal burning stove. That's a match in her hand and the box of matches in her other hand. It even says matches on the box. The stove is very ornate and the bucket in the foreground says COAL on it. No other writing so don't know if it was an ad for coal, matches, stoves, or women that would light your fire ::). Very detailed for only being 2" X 2". The last picture is of 3 silver rings that came from the same vicinity. Having a blast with this particular spot. Wish you could all join me. Take care and happy hunting~CO2 :-*

Great digs CO2. I love the car too. Funny, I found one of those printing dies a couple of months ago. I just got my computer back and researched it just yesterday. Yours is very similar to the one I saw on EBay. I'll try to post a pic of it.

Happy Hunting!

Moon

P.S. The pic is one similar, but the lady that is cooking is on EBay.

Nice digs Colorado. I found a block like that with a picture of mickey mouse engraved onto it like that. Is it made of lead and really heavy. You could put a peice of paper on it and scribble it to see if any more images will show up. Or go to paint and color it and it might show more.

Keep up the good work. Surprized no coins with those great relics. I've had days like those. Still nice relic day.
