u wwill have to excuse the pix cause i had to a desktop camera thats the best i could get

Sterling silver in fact (92.5%)

i bet you dont find many of these right i mean thats the first one for me anyway. you ever found any? are these common?

They're fairly rare. I've seen several posted on this forum over the years, but its definitely not something you see posted everyday.

Nice find Mike. Don's values are fairly accurate if it is the non "H" variety. If it is an "H" the value is about half that. The "H" variety had a mintage of 1.32 million.

Very nice. Now thats something ive never seen posted. Sweet

This coin has a fairly strong collector base. So Mike, is your coin the ‘H’ variant?? If so, you have hit a jackpot :)

i dont think its a H type but still its a great find i was shocked to find it. so its worth more than melt? its not in that good of shape is it what would u say its grade is?

I would say G-4, but the pics aren't great.

it has a small hole in the top of the crown that prevents me from seeing if there is a h at the bottom its not all the way through but its done enough that its black where the hole was started i know this cause i did one with a franklin.
