Went to a co workers "new" house today (built in 1910) after work to detect for a while before going home. Found a couple of clad quarters a couple of nickels and one 1917S wheat. The last hole I was going to dig for the evening, I stated "here comes the mother lode" and out pops this beauty! My first Barber. I'm Jazzed!!

Just out of curiosity, why is it called a 'Barber'

Cheers

They are called " Barbers " because " Charles E. Barber " was the designer of the coins...

Nice barber quarter. They are great to find.
