Had a little time to kill before going to work, decided to check out this old property that I've never hunted before. I've had permission for a long time, just never made it to this location. Not too productive, some curious stuff but nothing great. Given the short amount of time I was there, I guess it wasn't too bad.
The first thing looks like it may be a sheet music holder, not sure though. The shiny silver pointy thing was inside of the wooden tube, marked 15, price $1.00. Four cool skeleton keys and a couple of medalions that look probably catholic.

I'm dying to know what that metal tool is. Very cool looking!

I have a buddy who suggested it may be a part off of an old sewing machine.

I was thinking an old flow pen tip, dip it in the ink well and write away well untill its time to redip who knows colls regardless thanks for showing

Fishguy, that is definite possibility. There was an old dried up bottle of ink there as well.

It seems a little large for a pen. Its about 5\8 inch in diameter.

Yep, the one item is a sheet music holder that goes on an instrument such as a trumpet.

The pointed metal thing is a pen tip from either an architects pen set or possibly for calligraphy. My grandfather was an architect and his sets contained many such points. Nice find. Must have been under cover if the tube is in as good a shape as it appears or perhaps a more recent drop.

Interesting finds, the silver pointed thing is kind of neat.

Ya looks like a shuttle part off a sewing machine. Awesome finds!

Yep, taz42o solved the mystery!! It is a shuttle from a singer sewing machine!!

Nice variety of relics. Any coins turn up? :dontknow:
Congrats,

Not a single one for me. Two or three weeks prior to me hunting it, a buddy pulled some silver out of the woods behind the house, but nothing for me........yet!!!
