1900 IH, & 1891 "V" Nickel...

Hello all,,,
I was able to get back out to the "Indian Graveyard" the last two days. For those of you not familar with the Indian Graveyard, it's not actualy a graveyard, it's just that I have found about (26) IH's there in the last few years, so that's what I have nick named this place. Was there today and snagged this 1900 IH, and was there yesterday as well and got the 1891 Liberty Head Nickel. I dug a ton af pull-tabs, but no gold was found. :'(

Sweet finds, the archies would have your head though for digging up an Indian Graveyard ;). Good luck, bring home some silver next time...Ryan

Re: 1900 IH, & 1891 "V" Nickel...

I had a 1905 Liberty nickel when I was a kid. Prob. spent it on cigarettes as a teenager. Haven't had one since, so I'm looking.

Nice nickel and nice Indian!

Thanks a bunch all,,,
This particular site has been pretty good to me...

mastereagle22, I wish you the best of luck finding some older coinage. Only thing I can say that might help, is to get to a location that was well populated back in the day, and dig those deep targets... Well, actually, dig all the ones that sound like silver, and most of all the rest... ;D

Good luck all, & Happy hunting~

A couple nice ones. An 1800's V with full liberty - and not that full red color. ;D That place sounds great. Our best IH place has produced six in the last year. That would be sweet to find a spot with a dozen or more......I know they are out there!
