1900 House

I couldn't believe it, we're getting fresh rain so I go search a house built in 1900. I pulled 1 1950 Wheatie. That was the oldest coin & there was nothing else to note. I even went under the front porch, unreal.

Yeah I feel you. I got hordes of people competing into my town and MDing everything, tearing the ground up and just leaving it. I check CL once a day for a cheap metal detector and man there's at least 5 post asking for places to hunt and another 5 more wanting to buy detectors. Just like antiqueing the TV shows are ruining another hobby that so many have enjoyed over the years, now it's getting destroyed. But I hit my school last night and found my first ring on a school that hit weekly. But they missed it!!! Haha chumps!

man I hate places like that. I've been to a few that I just knew were going to be dripping with silver and didn't find jack crap. very disappointing

I hit parks once in awhile, but not often. I figure all those TV detectors have been there. I stick to houses, right now I'm on a pre-teen kick. They can't all be as bad as the first on the list.

Those days happen to the best of us, perhaps the yard had a new layer of dirt brought in or something ...

Actually the weird thing was the back yard looked like it had been taken down about 3 inches.
