🔎 UNIDENTIFIED 18th Century Small Lead Shaped Donut with Matching Cylinder

Yesterday I found this round donut shape lead piece that is 26mm wide and 13mm deep. It was found with a matching tapered cylinder that's 15 mm wide and 20mm long. It fits snugly inside the donut. It came from a site with other lead trinkets and coins dating 1697-1722. Can anyone here enlighten me?

Good find and post.... First off I personally don't have a clue. But like YOU I'd like to know also. I don't know if the small cylinder "belongs" where your showing it but it's hard to argue with it if it "fits". But I truly hope somebody here has an idea.... My best to ya .... Brad

Interesting... a first for me... it first looked like a jug / bottle stopper... but being 2 parts like that is odd... UNLESS that was how they made them.
