looks like a lid to a incense burner , i have seen them at flea markets but i am not 100%

Interesting mical. Hadnt thought about that. It was dug near a Virginia Plantation that dates to the 1800s. And sorry, I meant to put this on What is it, not Todays Finds. My bad. Call me Junior!

This belongs in the "What is it?" section of the forum, not today's finds. That said, is the top part of the item threaded?

Easy now BB...I'm only a Junior member. See my second post above apologizing for accidentally putting it in the wrong place. :laughing7: Thanks for looking though. No threads in it. It is smooth inside the shaft.
