1897 IOWA STATE FAIR SOUVENIR / FOUND TODAY (Nebraska)

I found this souvenir in the back alley today, about 6" deep. I live in Norfolk, Nebraska. Souvenir reads: IOWA STATE FAIR / SEPT 8-19 / DES MOINES / 1897
Detector used is a Discovery 2200 with 4" coil. Good signal, ID was $0.10. I don't find much...this is a great find to me! ;D

Cool token, Blaglezz! Looks like it was a medal once, probably connected by a ribbon?

Nice find and you might want to research the state fair to see what you can learn about it.

Yes, same hole. After recovering the star the detector beeped again in the same spot, then I found the other part with the pinpointer help.
I've found in google that the fairs still takes place anually. Since 1854!
