Beautiful coin -- CONGRATS! I've been detecting for over 2 years but haven't hit 1800's coins yet. Lucked out on my oldest coin though, as it's also my best -- a 1923 Peace silver dollar, which was an eyeballed surface find in an old field. Always glance around for surface finds! HAVE FUN! Andi
