1895 Gold Half Eagle ($5) coin - Need help

Can someone out there in Coinland tell me roughly what grade this coin would be, and the approx. value?
I know it's tough not seeing it in person, but I'm just looking for a general idea.

Front looks AU-55, back looks MS-60 at least. Pretty sweet coinage brother.

Doug, looks like Very Fine but the coin has been cleaned.

The front might have been wiped off but the back definitely still has the original "mint luster" - no scratches there...

Doug, I think DD-777 grade on the front & back are pretty close, although I would knock it down a tad on the front, looks to be a blemish on the bridge of the nose, the back looks great.


I also agree with nc-joe, it does look like it could have been cleaned, can you varify that?
