1894 Barber Half Dollar!!!!

Me and my buddy Jim got out for a few hours after work today and i got my first silver and it was a biggie..we stepped out onto fresh farm field that we hadnt hit before and didnt know what to expect..after a few hours and coming up short we decided to make our way back to the truck..then outta nowhere i came across a good strong signal with my bairly broken in Teknetics G2 from mike over at woodland detectors..dug the target at about 5 inches down and flipped out the plug..and there it was..i knew it was big silver and was almost to excited to look..1894 barber half dollar!!and to top it off jim walked about 10 or 15 steps and found one of his own!!then we knew we had found that sweet spot..Jim found a few more things but i dont wana steel all his thunder..Thanks for lookin!!

Nice indeed. Looks to have a full Liberty? Sometimes I envy you east coasters for you historical finds. Then I haul myself up to the mountains or the desert and forget all about you ;).

That was totally unexpected eh Chief? Yours came out nicer than mine! We should give that field another try after work one night. Im thinking it was a cache or pocket spill. They are almost uncirculated. Go teknetics!
