Okay, I didn't find it at a bank, but...

I DID buy it with 100% CRH proceeds!

What a hobby we have! I'm so glad I was able to get back into this hobby when I did. If it weren't for the great finds I was blessed to recover over the last several months (and a healthy silver spot price), I probably never would have been able to add this awesome coin to my collection. Goes to show what you can achieve with a little hard work.

Good luck with your hunts, everyone! I hope you all get some great scores!

Nice original surfaces and even wear. Adding these coins to one's collection with the proceeds of hard work (and a little luck) makes them even more special and adds to their provenance. I added an Isabella quarter and a Gettysburg half last year from CRH'ing profits. I'm working on an Antietam. I might be pulling the trigger on it in the next few days.

Nice coin, but why not buy a ms65 1893-s morgan? jk I love my morgans though.

I also have some CRH proceeds I would like to use to expand my graded collection. Where do you guys go for graded coins?

I good way to save on graded coins is to buy on ebay (or a dealer, etc that has no buyer fees) and you can sell slabs on Teletrade - they don't charge any fees to sellers.

Those are cool commems. I love the Gettysburg half. We went there year before last - very cool place. I don't have any commems, but have thought of putting together a set. Do you have a PCGS registry set or just collect casually?

I will be hitting the Long Beach show in Sept - am stoked! I hope to find some good stuff there.

PCGS population of 324 coins grading vf with 2062 coins grading higher, I would say one hell of a rarity with only 100,000 minted. Nice coin with honest wear, original surfaces and clean of major hits. Just out of curiosity as i'm not doubting you but there is a very unique die marker on all genuine 1893-s does yours have it?

Not a PCGS registry set, but hardly a casual collector. My Isabella is ms-65 by PCGS. The Gettysburg is ms-65 by PCGS. The Antietam that I'm going to pick-up is ms-66 by PCGS. I've been slowly adding to my commemorative set, and the next target is a Spanish Trail. I also have numerous other classical commems that are raw.

hey coinguy - I must be a noob - where do you see the "rt" letterings in the Morgan dollar?
thx
