1892 Mexican Liberdad "heroin spoon" (pictures added)
Between rain showers I have been hitting my yard with my new F5. Had a good hit 4 inches down and dug a nice large Mexican silver dollar. It had been pressed into a cup shape and has a crude looped handle brazed on. Sadly I think this was for shooting heroin. I can not think of any other purpose for this set up.
This place had a 1890's log cabin that is long gone but the barn still stands and I have found a bucket of square nails and one old aluminum thimble so far.
The "coin" was closer to where a rental house trailer stood in the 70's.
Hope everyone had a great weekend!
