1890's house yields mandolin pin ~ brooch ~ and Indian
Hello everyone,
This was the third trip to the old 1890's house that my 11 year old son got permission for us to hunt (he is much more charming than I am! And now that he has his new Garrett GTAx550 he is loaded with confidence)) Anyway......It has been SOOO hot here that we've only gone there at dusk for about and half hour or so.
The first trip we got mostly junk, but did manage a 1917 wheatie' The second time it got a little better, finding an old decorative hand carved silver lighter cover and TWO wheats 1919-D and 1942-D.
Well last night was the best! We dug three nice keepers. A Mandolin pendant, a nice brooch with a blue stone and the best Indian head I have EVER dug! A 1904 in XF cond. Maybe next time will be silver, who knows. Thanks for lookin', keep cool and until next time........
Have fun diggin!
