We had a warm weekend here in Indy. It got up into the 50's, so I went to one of my permission houses that was built in 1887. I spent 3 hours there and all I found was seven wheat pennies and zero silver[emoji22] . I will be going back there again, there has to be some silver there. All the pennies were at 4 inches. Yep, definitely has to be some silver there, with that many wheats available (suggesting it's not been "hunted out" by prior hunters).

Yea- if I go to a place and find 3-4 wheats I will keep going back until I find a silver. It is there for certain. ;)

7 pennies all within the silver date range and better.........oh ya, there is silver there somewhere!

Good luck, I'm looking forward to your finds. :icon_thumleft:

I typically get 20 wheats to 1 silver - hang in there, your due before you know it!

Got my CTX3030[emoji41]. Hope I can do some metal detecting now!

Nice finds! With all those wheaties the silver is coming!
