Hi all,

I usually post pics with my posts, but I have to wait until my gf gets home with the camera to do that. In the meantime, I thought if I could describe waht I'm seeing, the coin buffs on this site could help me out. The obverse is completely torched, can't make out one detail.

Diameter and width exact same as a US lincoln cent.
Reverse has a wreath like an Indian head though not exact
In the wreath, a large numeral '1' over the date '1885'.
The edge of the coin is not reeded that I can tell.
From what I can tel it is copper. Hits a 61 on DFX.
Found in Pennsylvania.

UPDATE! - Ha, I answered my own question before ever getting a response. Sorry for wasting your time! I'll add a pic when I get a chance. Here is the link I found:

Austrian 1 Kreutzer
http://www.numista.com/catalogue/pieces1268.html?lang=en&PHPSESSID=8e0d3c253c6147e723452a9434172735

Any help? or do I need the pic?

Thanks!
Kevo

that will teach you :laughing9:

do your research first & then when you draw a blank, put it up for offers. That way, you learn more, & can them help us ID the 'impossibles' :laughing7:

Heck Crusader, I was already on like page 30 of my 4th google image search. I'm not one to just throw stuff up here, I like to try myself. But I'd been sitting here over an hour, decide to post for all you geniuses.

I post my post, got to page 31 and bingo, there it was.

Figures!
