1880s Indian/Indonesian Incense Burner?

Hello! This is my first post on here and I found this at a yard sale today. I went to an antique store and he said that it is cast iron from somewhere in the indian/indonesian area, and that it may be an incense burner but he does not know for sure. Any ideas? Thanks!

What size is it? Without knowing the size I would say candle holder.

It is about 6.5 inches tall and about 3 inches wide at the top. Still think it’s a candle holder?
