if your not worried about rubbing it a lil warm water and baking soda will help to clean that right up
 

The hole was most likely for making it a necklace. In Ireland that would be pretty cool back in the day....

I honestly was shocked... I'm sure the other coin I got is a dollar also... And you would not believe where I found it. In a 1400's monastery graveyard

Hmm an Irish Indian? Well thats pretty neat. Cool find wonder why it was there in a 1400's graveyard? If our finds could only talk, I'm sure they would have interesting tales to tell.
