1878 clock with gear!!

Had an excellent hunt today! I found an 1878 clock and its gear is pretty much intact. A bit on the rusty side but it makes a great display piece underneath protective glass. I've also found a wrench bit and I'm thinking some kind of buckle. But the clock really stands out as one of my favorite finds. Enjoy!

We find clock parts, especially that back frame, quite often. Twas nice to finally realize that piece for what it is.

thanks, glad you guys liked it. I'm tempted to take it apart either clean it up or make something steampunkish. Halloween is coming up after all.

Thanks, I love finding mechanical parts, especially clocks in particular and reusing them for something else. i might crack it open but afraid i might damage it even more. I don't think it works, it looks pretty eroded inside it.
