This is an old 45-60 casing I found at the mouth of a canyon in Southern AZ sometime back. Based on the headstamp, this size of round was developed for the 1876 Winchester Centennial model, but was that the only weapon it was used in? And what about the headstamp? Can anyone put a date range on this?

Thanks

Unfired 30-06 round for comparison.

Winchester Repeating Arms Co. stop making the 45-60 around the 1930s/Great Depression time frame, the riles that fired this round were all before the 20th century.

There were about 3 or so rifles that fired this round, namely the Winchester model 1876, the Colt Lightning Carbine, and the Whitney Arms Co. Kennedy Lever Action rifle, there maybe some others but I didn't find any more during my brief search.

Also the Winchester 1886 and Marlin 1895, Sharps single shot, possible Remmington rolling block, this last I am not certain about
