1873 18K ring & broken Cameo ring

I just returned from a week vacation in the North East, during the first beach dive I found my ring of 2018! Then on the same dive a beautiful 10K Broken cameo ring (I've polished it up). I dug a hole you could lay in searching for the rest of the cameo but no luck. I couldn't read anything on the ring, but saw a small mark that was a shield with a number in it. After the dive back at the car my dive partner asked to see it so I handed it to him, after one look he had a minor convulsion and read the inscription to me..."April 30 1873". And the number was 18 inside a shield, 18K. My oldest dated anything besides a coin. The cameo is just nice. It came out black (on the gold side) no marks.
One of the things I've always wanted to find was a ring with an old date in it. Over the years Ive been with two guys that have found rings with dates within 5 years of this one, this was my turn.

That's a Great save!! And dated really gives the ring a history, WOW!!

The cameo ring (front) almost looks like part of a Centurion Hematite ring.
