1872 "S" seated dime

I buy and sell coins on E-bay,
Not a pro' by no means ???
This coin has me fooled, only 190,000 made, no proofs.
Yet i can't fnd one anywehere for sale, and value is low in the Red Book & PCGS
Every time I do a search on it, it comes back with HALF-DIMES
Ton's of them
Am I missing something here???
I wanted to sell it, but now, maybe I'll keep it
Thanks for lookin

Tim

P.S. I sold a 1914 "S" barber quarter for $350.00, and there was 264,000 made of them ???

Re: 1872 "S" seated dime

I found several 1872 dimes on e-bay. 1 - 72-s with 1 bid of $89.00 with 5 days left.

Mintmark information:

"Besides the Philadelphia Mint (no mintmark), this coin type was minted in New Orleans in 1860 (O) and in San Francisco (S) from 1863 through 1873. The mintmark is found below the bow, except on the San Francisco issues of 1870 through early 1872, where it appears within the wreath."
