Nice find. Thought I had one yesterday at an old site but it was only a jefferson:BangHead:

Nice find and in great shape. Congrats!

Love the # design on those....it looks cold....how far down was it?
About 4"-6" of ground but that was after ~4" of snow! Wonder if the snow amplifies signals like they say happens after a recent rain? Cool coin though for sure, my first one of these. Sounded like a high conductor so was surprised to see it pop out, let alone with a shield on it!

I think you are right about the snow having amplified the signal...what a thrill to find that and it being your first one..you earned it for sure...big congratulations 👍

That's dedication! Congrats on digging through the snow for that one!

Found today at an old park in Peoria, IL.

AT Pro w/ 5x8 coil
Great Find...!
I've found two in my "career", and both didn't have dates on them - that detail is usually first to go, I guess...!

Wow, you detect in the snow! That's determination. Well done.
Yeah has been going surprising well. Just kind of run the coil over the top of the snow and still seems to hit most targets about 4 inches under or so.

That's amazing. No snow where we are, if, and if it falls it melts within hours.
I like this site seeing the differences between our lands. 👍
