1867 Shield Nickel

I fineally found my first 1800's coin yesterday an 1867 Shield Nickel. I found it in the road in front of my house the road has been torn up for months and i have been detecting almost every day and nothing, untill yesterday. The coin is pretty crusty any tips on how to clean it up.

Nice find!
Last week I found a new coin cleaner, but I don't
know if it will work on old coins. Try it on new
coins and then decide. It's Gatorade. Seriously,
try it.
