Just dug these two buttons n Indian n a old knife and some other big piece I'll post later going home to clean them up dug at the 1700 s house

HI; Make sure you check the Indian Head to see if the letter "L" is present on the ribbon coming down the Indians neck ok. If there is an L there then you have a key date. Nice Find. PEACE:RONB

I don't know if it has a L sometimes I think I see one (wishful thinking!!lol) other times no there is some corrosion there so it's hard to tell I tried to take pic with magnifying glass

Me too!!! This is the oldest one I've found on this property before this 1878 was the oldest so I'm very happy I also found this old thing very deep
