I haven't been out much due to back surgery. I went last weekend with TnT and it was great to get out again. I also went with MarkG for a short hunt.
Today I went for a short hunt to one of our sites that has never really produced much in the way of coins but I wanted to go somewhere close.

I was quite happy when I got a great coin signal and dug what I believe is a suspender buckle. About 6" away from the buckle I got another good coin signal and was really happy to see what I thought was an Indian. After getting home and doing a little cleaning, it turned out to be a 1863 "Army - Navy" CW token. After a little research I see it's not worth much, but I love it because I've never found one before.

Thanks for looking

Seen a few of those on here, but its not the value thats important (to me). Its the fact that YOU found a piece of history.

100% correct on that Crusader, I would love to have a token like that in my collection, history is always first, value down the list........

That token is gorgeous...I'd rather find one of those over an indianhead. 8)

It looks like you found a garter clip, too. :P

Hey Ken great find buddy..I am jealous, the only thing I ever found there was a nasty Indian hardly legible...excellent...TnT

I'd love to find one of those tokens, that's really sweet!

Thanks everyone and Thank you Don for the better pics. It's great to get back out again.
