1863 Civil war token and an Indian

[Merf]

Greetings fellow MD ers.
I rehunted a spot where a farmstead was in the 1800s and found this token and IH.
Same size as a penny and pretty rough shape.
It came out OK after cleaning.

P.S.-----I got cought in a downpour which produced the rainbow.

wow that war token cleaned up well , did you use hydrogen peroxide? great finds

Thanks Baggins and MadM.
I put it in a rock tumbler filled half full of white aquarium gravel.
Added one teaspoon of vinegar and water just up to the top of the gravel.
It took 2 hours of tumbling. Each coin is different so I check the coin every half hour.

The token and the IH are great Merf. The rainbow coming down to the farmhouse makes a great picture too. You had a good hunt.

I am not sure how they were used Texan---I assume a trade token.
