I found this back in November and finally have it a closer look today!

It looks like it says Boston on the bottom line.

Interesting find. Can't tell the size or decipher the words other than Boston but it could be an old bicycle head badge? I found something similar with an 1899 date on it in Andover.

Possibly Nov 5th 1883 or 1863 above "Boston"? Could also be May 5th.
